LiD Kids First Winter Concert!

Last winter, LiD Kids had their first Winter Concert!

Thank you to everyone who came to watch the members perform. There were a lot of people, so some of the members felt nervous. But they still did their best dancing and singing.

First, Group One did their dance to All I Want For Christmas. The members did well remembering the dance moves. Next, each member did a self introduction. Giving a short speech to a room full of people is quite scary, isn't it? But each member did it! Afterwards, everyone in Group One sang jingle bells. It was a very lively performance!

Next, Group Two did their dance to I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas. The members performed with a lot of energy and joy! Then, to round up the performances from LiD Kids Winter Term members, everyone sang We Wish You A Merry Christmas. It was a very warm and gentle performance and a great way for the members to end their stage time. Well done to all the members last term for your hard work in the lessons and the day of the performance!

But the concert didn't stop there! There was a performance by a young member named Utana, who sang Last Christmas by Wham! Everyone enjoyed her performance, she did an amazing job. To have the courage and stage presence to perform by yourself is a great achievement. We hope to see you perform again soon Utana!

There was another musical performance from the Violinist Josh. He is a professional player, so we were very lucky to hear him play! Josh played Golden from Kpop Demon Hunters and the members, parents and the guests of the members enjoyed singing along. Thank you for performing Josh!

Finally, we had a special appearance from Santa! He brought gifts for all the members and other children who came to the Winter Concert. Everyone lined up and wished Santa "Merry Christmas", which made him extremely happy. Santa hopes that everyone enjoyed their gift!

Everyone who participated in the concert did an excellent job. The audience members were extremely supportive too which helped create a lovely atmosphere and to calm the nerves of the performers. Hopefully next year we can have a longer and bigger Winter Concert!
