LiD Kids Autumn Term and Halloween Party 2025!

LiD Kids ended their first Autumn Term on October the 27th, after finishing eight weeks of lessons and ending with a Halloween Party.

This term, during the lessons, we focused on team work, rhythm training and using English to create dances. At times it was difficult but we also learnt to push through even though we might find the task at hand challenging. Learning new skills can be tough at times, but looking back and seeing our own personal growth as well as the team's is such an amazing feeling!

The members did an excellent job using English to describe the difference Halloween and pop culture characters, as well as explaining why they like Autumn and what their Halloween costume is going to be. Sometimes it's difficult switching from one language to another language or trying to express yourself accurately. However the members were patient and kind to each other, and were encouraging when someone was struggling. Thank you for being so supportive everyone!

On the last day of the term, we had a Halloween Party! What a lovely time we had meeting new people, getting to know each other, dancing and playing games!

Everyone's costume was spectacular. There were witches, a unicorn, a clown, a prince, a wizard and a couple of characters from Kpop Demon Hunters. It's fun to dress up and cosplay as another character or person for the day, right?

We started the party with a game to help everyone warm up and get into the party spirit. Then we introduced ourselves to each other and talked about our costumes. It was fun getting to know you all!

After that, we did some rhythm training, but with some spooky elements thrown in! There were also challenges where you had to dance with a partner. Even though some of you only just met each other, you did an excellent job of working together. The pair-dancing looked so cool!

Next we did some rhythm training and learnt the dance routine to the Kpop Demon Hunter song Golden. I was really impressed at how well everyone danced and tried to remember the routine.

Finally, we ended the party with Trick or Treat! I hope everything enjoyed their trick or treat bags.

Halloween is the perfect time to explore doing new things so I was happy to see lots of new faces at the event. I hope we can have another one next year!
